Did you know that cats can also contract heartworms?  And, if your cat is in a household with a heartworm positive dog, he or she has an 80% chance of also being heartworm positive!  Heartworms in dogs can be treated but there is no safe treatment for cats.  For more information, please download the handout on our "Hospital Forms & Handouts" page!
